<aside> š Hello! I'm Jacob, a relationship therapist based in Melbourne. I excel at untangling difficult interpersonal dynamics by facilitating productive communication. I work to rebuild relationships and support mutual growth. On Monday afternoons I volunteer my service. At other times, I guarantee satisfaction or your money back.

Unconditional. is a Relationship Therapy startup.
The word āunconditionalā references the work of humanistic psychologist Carl Rogers, who pioneered client-centred therapy and posited āunconditional positive regardā as its cornerstone.
The title also reflects the belief that love is unconditional (although relationships are necessarily conditional)
In September 2024, after years of taking wonderfully fulfilling calls on a helpline for family issues, I decided to make an entrepreneurial leap. In the short-term, consultation prices will be unsustainably low while we iron out wrinkles in the process. Discount code: āSTARTUPā = 80% off
I'm a creative thinker, a problem solver, and an avid learner, who relishes provoking insight and deftly applying nuanced communication techniques to address real-world interpersonal challenges. When I'm not deescalating tensions from the brink of Household War III, you can find me shooting lovers with Cupidās Camera, or lost in the pages of a thought-provoking book.
Our closest relationships determine the quality of our life. Such significance underscores the importance that we navigate their inevitable challenges carefully. Our unique upbringing conditions the way we relate to others, who in turn have their own conditioning. In lieu of a robust education, relationship strategies are largely learned through trial and error. These can suit our formative circumstances, but strategies may cause conflict later if they remain unconscious. As our circumstances evolve, so too must our relationship strategies. I guide people through relationship challenges to restore the love that is central to a fulfilling life.
I am not a licensed professional and do not have any formal accreditation. My tertiary study of psychology and philosophy has only a minor influence on my practise.
I just seem to be pretty good at finding good ideas, good tools, good people and then deeply connecting with them. My work draws on over a decade of broad and voracious reading, intertwined with my wealth of personal relationship experience, my informal consulting with others on relationship issues, and my work on the helpline. People tell me I should charge for the valuable insights elicited through our conversations, and make my service available to everyone via the market.
People whose work influences my own approach include Carl Rogers, Marshal Rosenberg, Viktor Frankl, Abraham Maslow, Esther Perel, Terrence Real, Gabor MatƩ, and many others
Iām confident in my service, and thatās not merely a marketing tactic: Unlike most other therapists, if youāre unsatisfied with our experience, Iāll happily refund. I consider all feedback a valuable contribution to my professional development. Just complete the follow-up survey and write to unconditional.melbourne[at]gmail.com
